EasyBikes Rental Terms & Card Authorization

Before picking up your rental bike, all customers must complete our rental agreement, provide valid ID, and authorize a payment method for possible damage, theft, late return, or missing equipment charges.

Why We Require Card Authorization

EasyBikes does not charge a large refundable deposit at checkout. Instead, we securely keep a payment method on file through our payment provider. This helps keep rental costs lower while protecting our bikes and rental equipment.

What You Pay Today

  • Your selected rental fee
  • Any selected accessories or delivery fees

You will not be charged a damage fee unless there is damage, theft, missing equipment, excessive cleaning, or late return.

Card-on-File Authorization

By completing your rental booking, you authorize EasyBikes to charge the payment method on file for any amounts owed under the rental agreement, including but not limited to:

  • Damage to the bike or accessories
  • Lost, stolen, or missing equipment
  • Late return fees
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Failure to return the bike, battery, charger, lock, helmet, or other rental items

Pickup Requirements

  • Valid government-issued photo ID is required
  • Customer must match the booking name
  • Rental agreement and waiver must be completed before pickup
  • Bike condition photos may be taken before and after the rental

Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for the rental bike and all included equipment during the rental period. The customer agrees to return all items in the same general condition as received, except for normal wear from regular use.

Damage, Theft, and Missing Items

If the bike or rental equipment is damaged, lost, stolen, or not returned, EasyBikes may charge the payment method on file for repair or replacement costs.

Late Returns

Rental items must be returned at the agreed time. Late returns may result in additional charges.

No Large Deposit Required

We use card authorization instead of charging a large refundable deposit. This avoids unnecessary deposit charges and refund delays for customers.
